evening party - 5 March
Hilton
Melbourne South Wharf invited members of the historic racing community,
car club representatives & supporters of this exhibition to join
them for a launch evening on Monday 5 March.
Historic
Racing Australia supported this evening by arranging for Spencer Martin
to officially open the exhibition.
Bill
Hemming (Elfin Heritage Centre) supported the function by loaning
his Elfin 400 for display. This car having being driven by Spencer
in 1967 to multiple lap records at circuits such as Hume Weir &
Calder Park. Spencer was delighted to be re-united with the car, and
settled into the driver's seat well! (he is pictured here with Bill
Hemming).
Brett
Ramsey and his crew from Channel 31's In Pit Lane show accepted
HRA's invitation to conduct the interview. The interview will be available

Ocean Road Celebration Tour. The art work was unveiled by artist,
